That’s the Father’s Day message John Force delivered with emphasis Sunday at the wheel of the Castrol GTX Ford Mustang.
Battling to stay in the Top 10 in the driver standings, the 64-year-old racing icon finally made good on his promise of improvement with a performance that recalled past dominance.
After losing four times this season in the first round and four more times in the second, Force finally found his game Sunday and outdueled long-time rival Cruz Pedregon to win the 13th annual Ford Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway.
