2000 SVT F-150 Lightning

After the enthusiast press had dubbed the Lightning ‘The World’s Fastest Production Pickup’ thanks to its Eaton supercharged V-8 that delivered 440 foot-pounds of torque at just 3,000 rpm, SVT worked on enhancing the lightning’s appeal for the 2000 model year. Silver Clearcoat joined Black, Red and White as a paint color option, and the interior grained a new overhead digital console. Color-keyed mirrors, a six disc CD changer and Class III trailer hitch also became standard equipment on the 2000 Lightning.
