2002 SVT F-150 Lightning

A new color, True Blue Clearcoat was added to the 2002 Lightning exterior paint palette, and promptly outsold every other color except for Black. The SVT Lightning continued to draw rave media reviews as the one performance truck that had it all: acceleration, braking and handling, as competent doing laps at the track as it is doing chores. Meanwhile, a detuned version of the SVT-developed supercharged Lightning engine found its way into a 2002 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson specialty truck and it promptly helped it double sales over the previous year’s F-150 Harley truck model.
