For the 5th stop of the season, the NMRA Ford Nationals and the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals will invade Chicago for the Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing. What a better place to hold this awesome all out event as Route 66 Raceway? Known as the first true "Stadium of Drag Racing," Route 66 Raceway a multimillion-dollar complex including a 30,000 seat stadium-style drag strip with 27 luxury suites and home to this monumental street legal drag racing event.

Fans from all over the country will travel to Joliet to witness the top names of the NMRA battle it out with those of the NMCA for the Super Bowl titles. Whether you are a rabid Ford fan or a muscle car fanatic, this race will keep you on your toes all weekend. On top of the dual drag racing events, there will be two separate car shows, a tire smokin' burnout contest, a massive swap meet and the most packed vendor midway of the season.

At the end of the day on Sunday witness the NMRA winners take on the NMCA winners for the Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing Titles.

NMCA and NMRA will host an awesome National event caliber car show Saturday and Sunday. Bring out your American made muscle car, hot rod, truck or specialty vehicle for a chance to win over 50 awards each day. The best of show GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles will win beautiful acrylic awards. Bowties, Blue Ovals and Mopars...this car show will showcase them all. This is the BIGGEST car show in the Chicagoland area with the NMCA and NMRA attracting the most beautiful, collectible, stock and modified muscle cars and hot rods in the U.S.

The Mustang Club of Central Iowa and NQS Performance www.NQSperformance.com would like to invite you to the Mid America Motorplex (MAM) on July 21-22, 2012, for our 11th annual high speed driving event. This year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Shelby American, and are extending a special invitation to owners of Shelbys and Cobras of all years to attend.

Saturday and Sunday will both be high speed open track days. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting. Expect 5-6 sessions per day. Many drivers wish to record lap times to compare from year-to-year, so timing transponders will be available on Saturday if you desire. Times will be posted throughout the day to keep track of your sessions.

Sunday will be traditional open track touring without timing. 20-minute sessions will commence after the drivers meeting. On Saturday, a special group photo is planned for all Shelby American vehicles in attendance.MAM’s photographer will also be on hand on Saturday, so if you’d like to, you will be able to purchase a shot of your car at speed to hang on your home or office wall. Please take note of the special early registration pricing. There is a significant savings for registering before the July 1st deadline, and an even greater savings to attend both days.
