We will also be featuring the Muscle Mustangs Spring Break Shootout class, presented by Baer Brake Systems, where 16 of the hottest Fords take it from the street to the track. Suncoast Mustang Club 25th ANNUAL MUSTANG-SHELBY-FORD SHOW At Country in the Park SATURDAY MARCH 17, 2012. This show is for any Mustang, Shelby or Shelby Cobra, Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, or Ford Powered Car or Truck – whether in show condition or still a “work in progress.” All Show vehicles must be Ford Powered. Only Pre-Registered Cars will be judged.

Directions: From Interstate-275, take Exit 28 going west on Gandy Boulevard, Gandy turns into Park Boulevard after U.S. 19. Continue west on Park until 49th Street, turn right and go to 82nd Avenue (Joto’s Pizza on corner) and turn left. Town Square Plaza Park is located across the street from the Fire Station on the left side of 82nd Avenue. Look for Mustang Car Show Signs.

Judging Information: Registrations must be post-marked no later than March 9th, 2012.
All cars except Participant and 2010-12 cars will be judged using Modified MCA Judging. Best of Class and Awards of Excellence will be given in each class.

Definitions: Concours = 100% stock/factory (except tires and safety items)
Occasional Driven: = 3 or less modifications (except tires and safety items), vehicle only used for shows and pleasure driving (cruise-ins etc.) . . . Daily Driven: = 3 or less modifications (except tires and safety items), vehicle used as principal transportation for owner/driver. Engine compartment and trunks will not be judged on this class. . . Modified: = 4 or more modifications from “factory” version of vehicle, either mechanical or appearance items, clones included (example – Shelby Mustang “clone”)

Please register the car in the class that most accurately describes how the owner uses it.

During judging period, convertible tops should be up, passenger’s side and rear windows should be up. Driver’s side window should be ½ up. Hood and trunk must be open (except for Daily Driven Class) Work in Progress Cars, Participant Only, and Cars Registered Day of Show will not be judged.

All Ford-powered vehicles are welcome. Saturday events include dash plaques to 1st 250 pre-registered; Only pre-registered 2010 and older vehicles will be judged, judging will be a modified judging format, 2011-2012 vehicles will be by popular vote. Show vehicle will be photographed with a P-51 Mustang airplane. You MUST arrive before 10am to have your show vehicle photographed. Dyno will be on site, food will be available for purchase. No alcoholic beverages or pets allowed at this show. A Saturday night barbeque buffet will be held at the Coronado Resort hotel, cash bar will be available.

Sunday activities include four parade laps beginning at 9am in your own vehicle with a photo at the start/finish line for every registered vehicle. A 30% discount is offered to participate in the Richard Petty Experiences and Ride Alongs. GO Kart racing also available.
