Alamo, NV - To the Banning Motorsports team, the Best in the Desert Silver State 300 is no ordinary race. They won their first Silver State race in a class 2000 car back in 2008. After moving up into the faster 1100 cars, they went on to five more Silver State victories in a row winning in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and again in 2013. That’s an astonishing record in a sport where it’s a great accomplishment just to finish the race.
