Tanner Foust is becoming one of the most visible drivers in all of motorsports. From co-host on Top Gear USA to his stunt work in movies and his domination of the North American RallyCross and X Games competitions, Foust is everywhere.
Foust is a three-time X Games gold medalist and two-time Formula Drift champion; his varied racing experience also includes open-wheel competition, the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, rally racing, sports car racing and the SCORE Baja.
In 2003, Foust started his professional racing career and in 2010 announced a partnership with Ford Racing competing in the Global Rallycross Championship, European RallyCross Championship and X Games. That year, he became the first American to compete overseas in the FIA European RallyCross series and in 2011, became the first American to win ERC events in Portugal, and Sweden.
The Fiesta driver earned his second-consecutive Global Rallycross Championship in 2012 and tallied four podium appearances. Foust finished third overall in the European RallyCross series, despite competing in just seven of the 12 events.
A partnership with toy maker Mattel has allowed Foust to break two world records. At the 2011 Indianapolis 500 he jumped a Hot Wheels truck a world record 322 feet (over 107 yards) and at the 2012 X Games, Foust and fellow stunt man Greg Tracy followed up by successfully completing a world record 66 foot tall vertical loop.
