Reinis Nitišs returns to Supercars competition with Olsbergs MSE for a second season after an impressive 2014 debut that saw him finish third overall in the World RX driver's championship. His record included one win, two second-place and two third-place results.
Nitišs debuted in the Super 1600 category of the European Rallycross Championship in 2012, running a partial, five-event season. He scored his first points with a 12th-place finish in Finland. His first full season in the European Rallycross Championship in 2013 saw him take home six Super 1600 wins in nine starts en route to the title. He also showed promise in the 2013 GRC Lites, racing two strong contests in the United States.
- In 2009, at the age of 14, he won the Latvian and Baltic States karting championships, and made the move to rallycross the following year --earning the Junior Estonian Rallycross title in his debut season.
- In 2011, Nitišs scored runner-up results in both the Latvian Autocross and Estonian Rallycross championships
- During Nitišs’ first full season in the European Rallycross Championship in 2013 he took home six Super 1600 wins in nine starts en route to the title.
- in 2014, Nitišs became the youngest driver to score an overall Supercars victory
