David Ragan begins his 10th season as a member of the Ford Racing stable of drivers, and his second with Front Row Motorsports in 2013. Ragan, who will continue behind the wheel of the No. 34 Fusion for car owner Bob Jenkins, looks to build on a solid inaugural campaign with Front Row while adding to his great deal of experience at the young age of 26.

Entering 2013, Ragan hopes to build on a pair of top-ten finishes in 2012, both at Talladega Superspeedway, including his lone top-five of the year with a fourth-place effort in the spring race. That should come as no surprise since superspeedway races have been good to Ragan in his career. His lone NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win came in 2011 with Roush Fenway Racing at the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway in July. The 2011 season also saw Ragan claim his first NSCS pole, which came at Texas in the first half of the season. He also took the top spot for one of the marquee races of the year, the Brickyard 400. Sandwiched in between those two accomplishments was a victory in the Sprint Showdown, a non-points race at Charlotte Motor Speedway that serves as a preliminary event to the Sprint All-Star Race. 
 

* Ragan has posted one win, two poles, 13 Top-5 and 32 Top-10 finishes in his career. 

* Ragan earned the job of following Mark Martin in the No. 6 Ford after showing steady progress in 19 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts in 2006. He, along with Martin, helped the No. 6 Scott’s team finish second in the owner’s point standings that season, which laid the groundwork for Ragan to move up in 2007.

* The son of retired NASCAR driver Ken Ragan, David also owns his own Ford dealership in Perry, Ga., near his hometown of Unadilla, Ga.

Ragan became a recognized name on the reality-based cable television show with Roush Racing called Driver X. The show pitted a number of drivers trying to land a job with Roush Racing and even though Ragan did not win, he made it to the final four and impressed team representatives so much that they hired him at the beginning of the 2006 season.
