Autoweek Covers Pastrana's Transition To NASCAR

Travis Pastrana sits on top of the world of extreme sports. Thus most people would think that making the move to NASCAR is riskier than any of the stunts that have brought fame to the 29-year-old daredevil.

Many aspiring NASCAR drivers used to start with small teams, small budgets and very little time in the spotlight, leaving room to fail. Pastrana has joined Roush Fenway Racing in the Nationwide Series, where it has won the last two championships and many, many races. He'll be driving the No. 60 Ford Mustang which has recorded the most wins in NNS history, having been driven to victory lane a grand total of 90 times by storied drivers Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards and Mark Martin.
