Charlotte Speedfest, comprising of the Charlotte Motor Speedway, NASCAR Hall of Fame and five NASCAR teams, is scheduled Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Scheduled to appear at CMS is 2011 Hall of Fame inductee David Pearson, who will sign autographs starting at 2 p.m. The NASCAR HoF is offering no-cost vouchers for its simulator rides, available from the CMS ticket office. Fans must purchase a HoF admission to receive the voucher. The Roush Fenway Racing gift shop and museum in Concord are scheduled to open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., featuring 15 percent discounts on all 2011 merchandise plus a no-cost 3D-gaming show car simulator display. Hendrick Motorsports, Stewart-Haas Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing also are providing special opportunities in conjunction with the Speedfest.
